Inside a Casio fx-991ES case there are two processors: one runs the calculator — keys, screen, arithmetic — and the other wakes up only for an AI request, takes a photo, and sends it on. The second one is off the rest of the time, which is why the battery lasts.
Requests go through this site rather than straight to OpenAI, and that is the whole reason history exists: we are in the request, so we can record it. You pay OpenAI directly with your own key, and we can show you what every shot cost.
